Its specific objectives were to; determine the effectiveness of ClutchIt in charging a smartphone; compare the variable of ClutchIt to the performance of an ordinary power bank; and identify the efficiency it ClutchIt itself. This study used an experimental design in conducting the research. The researchers invented a product to be tested named it ChutChIt. They also used five (5) different test batteries with 1, 400 mAh each, a test phone and a 1, 500 mAh power bank for the experimental purpose. As a result, the product discharges due to inconsistent clutching but somehow remains its charge and does not gain some. In comparison to a power bank, there was a significant difference between the two products since the power bank still performs better. In its overall efficiency, the product was efficient for it prolong battery life. Overall, the numbers of cluthes set by the researchers were all effective showing that ClutchIt was ineffective in gaining charge but instead was effective in prolonging battery life. ClutchIt was overall efficient since it was cheap can be used as a life prolonging device during emergencies. Keywords: ClutchIt, power bank, test phone, prolong, clutches: 3; 1 pages; ISBN: - text
