| Summary, etc. | This book "Teaching and Learning Languages and Multiliteracies: Responding to the Mother Tongue-Based Multilingual Education Challenge" is meant for all basic education most especially for those who teach from K to 3 and those who teach Mother Tongue as a subject . It is also for teacher educators who prepare would-be teachers for basic education. To ensure teachin-learning that is focused, this book is outcomes-based. The topics, activities and assessment tasks are aligned to the learning outcomes given at the beginning of each lesson. The activities are opportunities for both teacher and learner to get engaged in interactive, integrative, collaborative and reflective teaching-learning for lesson mastery.
