| Extent | KopiTABLE is a coffee shop which aims to provide quality products and satisfy its customers with the high quality service and make their times be spent to the fullest by staying and relaxing while enjoying its friendly and pleasant environment at a very reasonable price. The coffee shop primary products are kopiCCINO (cappuccino), kopiSHAKE (coffee shake), kopiFLOAT (coffee float), kopiJELLY (coffee jelly), BREWEDkopi (brewed coffee) and condiment products such as a choice of Sweets (different pastries) and Brownies with Malunggay. To add value to its customers, the shop would also offer free wi-fi, coffee table books and other reading materials. Bulihan and GMA are places of diverse populations. Thus, many have taken this opportunity to establish their own businesses. With the advent of these businesses, at the center of these two towns formed a very competitive and strategic location which is very ideal for different kind of businesses. The researchers have identified this opportunity and have chosen the place as the location of the coffee shop. Until the present, no coffee shop exists in the area. But as long as coffee products are concern, there are businesses that also offer it. Thus, the competition is seen in the perspective of product competition. The product competitors identified are Jollibee, 7-eleven, Dunkin Donut and Zagu. The study formally started via the distribution of surveys to 400 respondents who live within the vicinity of the said market whose age ranges from 15-63 years old. After the survey has been distributed, they are consolidated and analyzed through the aid of the computer software called SPSS. Consequently, data analysis has led the researchers to the identification of the profile of the target market and of the supply and demand of coffee products. The data were then used for the basis for further information such as sales, production requirements and all other financial aspects. Provided by the demand and supply analysis, it was found out that there is a significant gap between the two. It implies that the market is not satisfied with the existing coffee products present in the market. Thus, there is a big opportunity for the kopiTABLE to be successful in the said market. KopiTABLE shall employ (3) three employees whose positions are manager and baristas to undertake all the operations of the coffee shop. They will be given the minimum wage rate based in Silang, Cavite. The company will make sure that they will be given all the benefits mandated by law such as Pag-Ibig, SSS and Philhealth. The Coffee shop is a partnership business. The researchers, whose names appear as the owners of the business, shall be financed by their relatives. For Almario, his uncle who is an assistant captain in a cruise ship will be financing. For, Magsino, her brother who is businessman and finally for Delgado, her cousin who is an electrical engineer in Singapore. KopiTABLE is expected to have its return on investment on its third year of operation after incurring continuous loss for the prior years. : |
