It would take a heroic effort to uncover the evil secrets of Leopold`s Congo. By then millions of lives had been ruined". Tells the story of Leopold II, King of the Belgians, who claimed he was helping the people in a colony of Africa along the Congo River, but was really found to be promoting slavery and other ills. |
