<extent>DATE: March 2015 TITLE: Development of a Web Based Teacher`s Evaluation System for Far Eastern College - Cavite AUTHOR: Anima, Aldrik S. Ramores, Kent Martin T. Velasquez, Isha M. SHOOL: Far Eastern University - Cavite DEGREE: Bachelor of Science in Information Technology TECHNICAL ADVISER: Prof. Mark Anthony P. Cezar ADVISER: Prof. Alvin Jason A. Virata, MIT YEAR: SY 2014 - 2015 KEY CONCEPTS: Teachers Evaluation, Web Based, Online Chapter 1 presents the company background, background of the study, project description; statement of the problem, purpose of the study, scopes and limitations, significance of the study and definition of terms. The proponents conducted the study within the school of Far Eastern University - Cavite. The proponents identified the common problems encourtered by the school during evaluation; the proponents proposed the development of Web Based Teacher`s Evaluation System for Far Eastern College - Cavite. The proponents conducted series of studies and research in order to support and reate the proposed project for a suitable solution. The scope and limitation of the proposed system were also presented to give an overview of the features and capabilities of the system. This project will be of significance for the evaluation every semester in the school. In Chapter 2, the prponents presented the review of related literature, study, system and sypnosis. It will support the proponents` cognitive ideas to the proposed system. Related literature is all about the parallel ideas and information from written works that is related to the system. Related studies are focused on the research or analysis pertaining to the creation of the system. Related systems are systems that are already launched by other developers that are related to the proposed system. Lastly, synopsis is the conclusion of the chapter two wherein it tackles how the related literatures, studies, systems will benefit on creating the system. Chapter 3 presents the research methodologies, system objectives, the paradigm or system development life cycle, the feasibilty study that consists of technical feasibility, operational feasibility, political feasibility, schedule feasibility and economic feasibility. The cost and benefit analysis presents the total development cost, annual benefit, payback period and return of investment. The logical and physical design contains ERD on Entity Relationship Diagram, Network Architecture, and Activity Diagram. The logical and physical design also includes the narrative for each diagram. Chapter 4, this chapter presents the data gathered out of the instruments in the study in relation with the problem statement presented in chapter 1. The proponents included the systems evaluation (Q Test) to the systems security, interface design, reability, functionality and maintainability. The proponents come up with the evaluation using the sampling design. The respondents will be the students and IT experts. The system`s evaluation was conducted by 33 end-users and 7 expert users, with a total of 40 respondents. The overall evaluation result is 4.47 and 4.03 for front-end users and IT experts respectively. Therefore from the level of satisfaction table (refer to table 6.0), the interpretation is very good so the system is considered to be acceptable. Chapter 5, in this chapter, the proponents shows the summary of findings, conclusion and reccomendation. The summary of findings presents the satisfaction and acceptance for the system from different criterion. The conclusion response on the system objectives on chapter 1. The proponents and the evaluators agreed that the system meets all the system objectives presented in chapter 3. Lastly, the recommendations is the reponses of the evaluators on the system which must be parallel to the system objectives. The evaluators give their own recommendations for the improvement and future upgrades for the system to enhence its effectiveness. : 1</extent>
