- VITA COMPANY is a company for the purpose of serving our valued clients in anew product dishes that we can give them, a healthy bread that will enjoy not only for adults but also for the young ones, we add this special ingredient in bread; replacing wheat flour. We would like to introduce a new ingredient made up of squash. Squash is a vegetable which has an orange-colored flesh, is also an excellent source of beta-carotene. It is rich in carotenoid and antioxidantwhich our bodies convert to Vitamin A, a nutrient essential for good eyesight and proper growth. It also contains a complex carbohydrate, potassium, niacin, iron and dietary fiber. According to Food and Nutrition Research Institute of DOST (Department of Science and Technology) "Serving two pieces of 26 grams each of pan de sal with squash can supplement 24 percent of daily Vitamin A requirement and 10 percent of daily energy requirement of seven to nine years old chilfren, Dr. Mario Capanzana, the FNRI director". http://balita.ph/2010/07/07. Nowadays, people would choose an artificially made food product that has a less healthy nutritional content over the conventional foods that I said to be "good for our health" that is available in the market.
