<extent>Thye purpose of this study is to develop an organic liquid laundry detergent made of pomelo, baking soda and coconut oil-based bar soap since according to studies, commercial laundry product has a negative impact on human health and on th eenvironment. The experiment done by the researchers to determine the effectiveness of the products was an improvise technique which the researchers measured the mass of cloth without stain was subtracted into the mass of the stained cloth to get the removed stain. The researchers used three different concentrations which are 25%, 50%, 75% and as for the stain, the researchers used four different stains which are food, ink, oil and mud stains. Upon conducting the experiment, the most efffective concentration of the pomelo-based organic liquid laundry detergent is the 25% in terms of removing ink and oil stain. In addition, there is significant difference in terms of removing food and mud stains. After comparing the positive and negative control, however, the negative control is the most effective in terms of removing food and ink stains compared to the other two (2) and there is no effective solution on mus stains. Thus, only the 25% concentration of the pomelo-based organic liquid laundry detergent product can be used as an alternative in only removing oil stain in cotton fabric since the product became a natural surfactant as when it was mixed with baking soda.
