People in this generation are more exposed on plastic materials, in which a study published by Huffington (2016) stated that 400 chemicals are needed in order to create a plastic, and one of the chemicals is Bisphenol A. And as long as it continues, they are also getting higher riak to be exposed in some of the possible effect on of Bisphenol A. That is why the researchers came up with an idea to develop a chitosan-based bioplastic that contains Bisphenol A. This study aimed to produce bioplastic food packaging utilizing the chitosan to provide a good alternative solution. The methods for this study cnsisted of mixing, heating and testing. The chitosan mixed by the other variables like vinegar and glucerin. It is heated at a temperature of 75 degrees Celsius. The produced bioplastic had undergone test such as tensile strength, teat resistence, and biodegradability to measure some of the physical properties and compare it to the other exsisting product.
