The descriptive research method is used as it describes the nature of the situation as it exists at time of the study (Sevilla, et al. 1992). It is concerned with conditions of relations of relationship that exists; that are being felt, or trends that are developing. The process of descriptive research goes beyond the mere gathering and tabulation of data. It involves an element or interpretation of meaning or significance of what is described. Thus description is often combined with comparison and contrast involving measurements, classifications, interpretation and evaluation.
