300 _aThe Philippines has been reliant on fossil fuels, and due to the wide dependence on this energy source, fossil fuels tend to contribute to the depletion of the natural environment. Biodiesel has been a known fuel alternative that may possibly ease the problem on the country`s energy deficiency. The study focused on the production of biodiesel from pork lard to generate electricity. There were three biodiesel samples which consisted of 6:1, 7:1, and 8:q cetane number, density, and kinematic viscosity. These parameters were compared to the descriptive statistics for the treatment of the data. The findings have shown that the three Biolard samples did not meet the requirements of the PNS, but were within the specifications of the international standards in terms of some parameters. There were also unidentified samples that could be best used for generator engines for the values of the results went either beyond or under the specifications of the country. Thus, the BioLard products were ineffective as an alternative fuel for generator engines and were proven unfit for commercialization.:
