_aThis study was conducted to utilize used cooking oil as a fuel for an alternative light source. The study is purposely to create an alternative solution about the problem of light source during power outrage with the use of common household materials. Particullary, the study focused on the effect of a component, the used Canola oil, to the product, "Ignis", where the used oil serves as the fuel. The researchers conducted an experiment of the product containing different used oils namely oil used to cook poultry (Oil A) and used to cook pork (Oil B) to measure is duration and amount consumed where the product that had more amount of oil can last more. Also, the different volumes of oil would only result to different amount consumption where the least amount consumes the greatest. Even when acquiring unequal means in separate results of Oil A and Oil B, still, equal means were acquired when compared to each other indicating that there is no significant difference between the duration of Oil A and Oil B.
